April 6-10 5:00-7:15pm in the BTWHS Band Room

Please join us in the BTWHS Band Room 5:00-7:15pm to audition for the 26-27 auxiliary (color guard and majorette) team!

*Middle school students should arrive as close to 5pm as they can – we know you get out of school later than we do. 

Things to know

All students auditioning:

• must attend all 5 days for the full audition period
• must wear black bottoms (capris, leggings, etc. – do not wear jeans!), white tops, athletic shoes and socks every day.  No sandals, Crocs, boots, etc.  
• must bring a refillable water bottle and drink from it!
• must bring a refundable deposit on 26-27 fees of $100 in cash/money order (made out to “BTWHS Band”)
  • These deposits will be held in the band office lockbox until the team roster is decided.  Any student that does not make the team should come to the band room at their earliest convenience to collect their deposit.

Students are not required to have any color guard, majorette, or dance experience to audition.  The first few days will be spent teaching basic skills.  

Students should come with an open attitude and a willingness to try new things.  

Students will be expected to practice what they learn outside of auditions.

Where is the band room?

The BTWHS Band Room is on the north side of campus and is easily accessible from the student parking lot (not on the McDonald’s side).  Here’s a campus map that might help!  Students may be dropped off and picked up at this location.
