Senior Night Info for Senior Families

Hello Senior Families!

Senior Night is this Friday, 10/23, and we’re excited to celebrate our seniors and the people who have supported them throughout their band careers!  Please read the following instructions carefully so we can keep everything organized and make sure everyone has time for pictures before the game.

A QUICK NOTE ABOUT ORGANIZATION: Unfortunately, we have not had any volunteers step up to help oversee Senior Night this year. That means we will need everyone’s cooperation in following these instructions, finding your assigned place in line, and keeping things moving. Please read everything ahead of time so we can make this a smooth and memorable experience for our seniors!

ARRIVAL & STADIUM ENTRY

  • Senior families and friends should arrive on campus before 6:00 p.m.
  • Everyone must purchase a ticket to enter the stadium and pay for parking.
  • Please DO NOT come to the band room! Go directly into the stadium and turn right. Walk around the bleachers to the track, where you will line up for the Senior Night presentation.

FINDING YOUR PLACE IN LINE
Please check the PDF below for the number assigned to your senior. This number tells you where your family belongs in the band’s Senior Night line. Please note that this is the band’s line only—not ROTC, cheer, or football.

Families will line up alphabetically by their senior’s last name:

  • Student #1: Your group should line up near the 40-yard line, on the south side of the 50-yard line.
  • Student #28: Your group will likely be back near the curve in the track.
  • Everyone else should line up in between based on your number.

Please find your assigned place and be ready to keep the line moving.

THE SENIOR NIGHT PRESENTATION
Once the band marches into the stadium, students will join their families in line. Please help us keep the line moving forward and close any gaps as we go!

Once your senior’s name is called and your pictures have been taken, please move off the football field onto the track in front of the band section.

PICTURES & GETTING READY FOR THE GAME
You are welcome to continue taking pictures in front of the band area until 6:35 p.m. Please plan accordingly so everyone has time to enjoy this special moment without delaying the pregame activities.

All students must be in their assigned spots in the bleachers by 6:45 p.m. to play the Star-Spangled Banner.

DURING THE GAME
Once the game begins, senior families and friends should head into the bleachers to watch the game. There is a short set of metal bleachers just north of the band section that is reserved for the band. You are welcome to sit there if space is available! The view of the field isn’t the best, but it’s a great spot to watch and hear the band.

Thank you for helping us make Senior Night a smooth, memorable celebration for our seniors! We appreciate all the love and support you have given these students, and we look forward to recognizing them and their accomplishments this Friday.
