Troy University’s School of Music presents their 2025 Flute Day on Feb 22, 2025.

The event itself is free, but any student wishing to participate must provide their own transportation and housing (if you plan to stay overnight).

Students that attend will spend time watching professional flute players perform, work in masterclasses with them, rehearse in flute choirs, and have access to vendors selling flutes, accessories, and music. The event will end with a concert of flute choirs.

This kind of event is ideal for any student looking for experience outside of the BTWHS band room. It looks great on college applications – especially if you plan to apply to Troy!
