• 1/8/24: return to school
• 1/11/24 5:30-6:30pm in the BTWHS Atrium: Curriculum Fair

• 1/15/24: NO SCHOOL – Martin Luther King, Jr. parade downtown P’cola
  • Any marching band student that did not participate in the Veteran’s Day parade can get a 100 on their parade grade by participating in this event.
• 1/18/24 3:30-5:30 Symphonic Band Rehearsal

After Spring Break things are too cloudy to predict – Wind Ensemble may be going to State Concert MPA or the Wind Band Festival at FAMU.  We’ll know more closer to time, and I’ll send out another email.

Please make sure that you and your student are aware of dates/times/locations of events.  Many folks think that concert season is less important than marching season because we aren’t as visible or as loud, but the opposite is true.  The fundamentals and foundations we build in concert season set us up for a successful marching season.  Attendance is not optional and student participation in rehearsals and performances counts toward student grades.
